Ponieważ już z racji sezonu latamy do Trapani (też do Katanii) każdy szuka noclegu i chcemy, aby było wygodnie i tanio. To powód mojej współpracy z http://www.bebtrapanigranveliero.it/pl/ .
Trapani has become a popular destination in Sicily
thanks to Ryanair's flights connection from Poland (Varsaw and Cracow) to
Trapani Birgi airport (about 18 km from city centre).
Trapani, located on the Western side, is considered the wild Sicily for
being less known than Eastern part but undoubtly today the most authentic.
It is a small town having a big pedestrian area. So it is the ideal
destination for people who like walking or biking along the
streets, admiring art nouveau and baroque architecture, doing shopping
thanks to fashion shops, enjoying gastronomy with fast
food/restaurants/pastry shops, going to the sandy beach next to the pedestrian
area. Trapani is relaxing during the day but offer also a good night life
in the night with people who meet in the street, have a drink together or
enjoying music in the street, in a happy and safety way.
But Trapani is also tradition with a nice fish market next to the port,
where it is amazing to meet fishermen and see their untired works. Here people
can buy local food (fresh vegetables, spices, cheese, fish) every morning.
Trapani also offers good public connections for people who would like
to visit Egadi Islands with hourly departures from port to Favignana,
Levanzo & Marettimo, bus to the cable car to visit medieval Erice,
bus/train to the archaeological area of Segesta, Selinunte, Mozia,
Marsala, Mazara del Vallo and the nature site of San Vito lo Capo.
So you don't need to rent a car for all the stay but just for 2/3 days
if you would like to visit nature reserve of Cofano, Zingaro and Scopello or
the salt routes with its windmills.
And what about the accommodation?
We would like to suggest a young company called Destination Trapani managing at Trapani old town 2 accommodations in 2
ancient buildings of 19th century.
B&B Belveliero and Granveliero, 2 boutique
hotels with sea view with the same philosophy: showing the best of Sicily with
unusual workshops, meeting local wowen craftmen, fishermen who will show the
preparation of ancient tuna fish nets. And also dedicated soirées, tasting
sicilian food combined with local wines and sicilian cooking classes with
preparation for example of “arancine”, Trapanese sauce...
Belveliero and Granveliero offer single, double, triple rooms or Suite
with 2 interconnecting rooms which can host 4/5 guests. All rooms with balcony
sea view or terrace sea view with solarium area, ensuite bathroom, air
conditioning, free internet wifi and sicilian breakfast. Some rooms are also
well decorated with paintings and nice cealings. Belveliero and Granveliero,
received Tripadvisor's excellence awards also for their friendness, giving
daily suggestion and tips to their guests, about what to do and visit everyday.
